We offer repairs that are the most appropriate for the situation, using our extensive knowledge of the materials.

In case of short shutdown, we adapt the solution to the time schedule, as, for example, partial reparation of the weakest area instead of a full replacement.

Our design takes into account the various operating conditions, chemical load, wind, earthquake.

DAMAGES & MAINTENANCE

Chimneys are exposed to wear and corrosion, externally and internally. In order to have a correct operation of the power plant, maintenance is necessary.
It is important to detect and promptly take care of the damages and malfunctions that may be occur during the years.

Ferbeck is one of the few wordlwide company to perform both EPC and maintenance projects with a strong technical know-how.

In recent years there’s a growing demand of chimneys modification/rehabilitation due to more and more strict environmental policies around the world.
Particularly in coal fired power plant, the introduction of FGD (Flue Gas Desulphurators) in some existing power plants, obliges to intervene on the liners to adapt them to the new gas conditions.
