The Manjung coal power plant in Perak State, Malaysia, was extended in 2013 to include a 1×1000 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired plant. Owned by TNB Janamanjung Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), the project was completed by Mudajaya Corporation. The plant features concrete silos for fly ash and bottom ash storage, with heights of 37m and 39m, outer diameters of 19m and 12.8m, and capacities of 5,085m3 and 2,100m3, respectively.
